Fabrizio Romano has refuted claims that Cristian Romero's contract with Tottenham Hotspur includes a special clause. Earlier this week, Marca reported that Romero's new deal, signed last summer, contained a provision allowing him to join Atletico Madrid if the Spanish club paid €60 million. Romano, however, has denied the existence of such a clause.
