Liverpool Lead Race to Sign Bournemouth’s Marco Senesi

Marco Senesi, who will become a free agent as his Bournemouth contract expires, has attracted interest from several top clubs. Juventus and Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in the 28-year-old defender, while Manchester United and Chelsea remain potential destinations for him in England.

However, according to the latest report from *i paper*, Liverpool have now emerged as the frontrunners to secure Senesi’s signature. The Reds are reportedly eager to strengthen their central defense with an experienced Premier League defender, particularly given Virgil van Dijk’s age and Ibrahima Konaté’s recent inconsistent form. Although recent reports suggest Konaté is close to agreeing on a new contract with Liverpool, no deal has been finalized yet.

Chelsea and Manchester United are also seeking to reinforce their defensive options but are not currently prioritizing Senesi. Both clubs are said to be exploring alternative targets.
