Jose Mourinho Open to Real Madrid Return

Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Jose Mourinho is open to the possibility of returning to Real Madrid as manager this summer. Currently, Mourinho is at the helm of Benfica, while Alvaro Arbeloa serves as Madrid's interim coach.

Romano stated on his YouTube channel that Mourinho retains a strong connection with Real Madrid and would be willing to reunite with the club in the future. "The bond between Mourinho and Real Madrid remains," Romano said. "I can confirm that Mourinho would like the opportunity to return to Real Madrid one day. He would be open to it, but for now, that’s the extent of it."

However, Romano clarified that no negotiations are currently underway between Mourinho and the Spanish club. "Claiming that Real Madrid are in talks or actively working on Mourinho’s return would be inaccurate at this stage," he added. "It’s still early. We must wait to see Real Madrid’s decision regarding their managerial position. This remains an internal discussion, and more clarity will emerge in due course."
