Everton Honors 97 Liverpool Supporters Lost in Hillsborough Tragedy

Thirty-seven years have passed since the Hillsborough Disaster, which claimed the lives of 97 individuals.

Since then, the victims' families have tirelessly fought against the misinformation and injustices perpetuated by the media and British authorities. Throughout this period, Everton, Liverpool's local rivals, have consistently offered their support.

The 37th anniversary of the tragedy was observed on Wednesday. On Sunday, Everton will face Liverpool in a highly anticipated Premier League Merseyside Derby at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium, where a plaque commemorating the 97 victims has been unveiled.

Representatives of the Hillsborough families and Liverpool Football Club attended a ceremony at Hill Dickinson Stadium to pay tribute to those who lost their lives.
